We are looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to join our Digital Unit at Fedoriv and lead the creation of a full-fledged design system for a mobile product in the public sector.This is a project-based full-time role (4-6 months) with high autonomy and strategic importance. You'll be expected to take full ownership of the design system - from auditing existing materials to delivering a scalable, documented solution ready for implementation.If you thrive in fast-paced, high-context environments, can work independently, and know how to transform fragmented UI into a coherent system - we'd love to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development of a complete design system for a complex mobile application (starting from audit to final documentation)Analyze existing flows, identify gaps, and design missing components, states, behaviors, interactionsCollaborate with product strategists, managers, and developers to ensure alignment and feasibilityDocument system structure, usage rules, and logic to enable smooth developer handoff (likely React stack)Present design logic and decisions to internal and external stakeholders (including the client)Ensure compliance with accessibility best practices (UX in wartime/critical usage scenarios)Participate in working sessions, design reviews, and stakeholder check-insHard Skills3+ years in UX/UI or Product Design (mobile-first)Proven experience in building design systems from scratchStrong command of Figma (variants, tokens, atomic structure, documentation)Understanding of mobile design guidelines (iOS, Android, cross-platform)Solid knowledge of UX architecture, design flows, and state logicExperience collaborating with developers (especially React/React Native)Experience with accessibility standards and inclusive design - a strong plusPortfolio requiredSoft SkillsAutonomy and ownership: you know how to drive a project end-to-endStrong communication and storytelling: you can clearly explain design decisionsProactivity and self-management: you don't wait for someone to tell you what to doComfort with ambiguity and dynamic requirementsAbility to present to clients and participate in feedback loopsBonus: being based in Kyiv and open to occasional offline syncsOffer DetailsFormat: Full-time project basis (contract / freelance)Duration: 4-6 monthsLocation: Remote or hybrid; Kyiv preferred
