  • Develop and maintain robust backend systems powering Petcube's apps and connected devices.
  • Implement high-quality, maintainable code following best practices (SOLID, KISS, DRY).
  • Design secure architectures for cloud-based services.
  • Optimize database performance (especially MySQL) to handle large-scale data.
  • Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of Petcube's systems.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer.
  • Strong expertise in PHP (Symfony framework).
  • Solid skills in database optimization, particularly MySQL.
  • Experience with Message broker system (RabbitMQ).
Nice-to-Have
  • Familiarity with video streaming technologies and real-time communication systems.
  • Knowledge of Python, Golang, or Java.
  • Expertise in secure coding practices and cybersecurity principles.
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD principles.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging systems for distributed environments.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Helm charts, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
