MacPaw gathers open-minded people who support each other and aspire to change the world around us.We are looking for a Middle Accountant who enjoys making sense of complex financial data, working across multiple entities, and bringing structure to reporting processes.In this role, you'll work with international group companies, support consolidation and reporting processes, and collaborate with finance partners across different countries.In this role, you will:

Prepare documentation and support responses for external audits (including Big4).
Assist with monthly and quarterly close processes across group companies.
Perform intercompany reconciliations and prepare elimination entries.
Contribute to consolidation processes, including preparation of reporting packages and supporting schedules.
Work closely with local finance consultants across multiple jurisdictions.
Support financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery under tight deadlines.

Skills you'll need to bring:

3+ years of experience in accounting, ideally in an international or group environment.
Strong practical knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS.
Hands-on experience with consolidation, intercompany reconciliations, and elimination entries.
Experience preparing financial statements and reporting packages.
Experience working with external audits and ability to independently handle auditor requests.
Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, data analysis).
Understanding of multi-currency accounting and FX translation.
High attention to detail and ability to work under tight reporting deadlines.
Advanced English and native Ukrainian.

As a plus:

Experience with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot).
Experience with ERP systems (Odoo, Xero).
Exposure to SaaS or tech industry revenue recognition (ASC 606).
