Associate/Senior Associate (Antitrust Practice)

• Law degree from a reputable university;
• at least 3 years of working experience in Antitrust and Competition (working experience with an international or a leading Ukrainian law firm is an advantage);
• working proficiency in English (including legal and business writing and speaking skills);
• proficiency in other foreign languages is an advantage;
• excellent analytical, legal research, and legal writing skills;
• ability to produce mid-level complex legal documents with minor revisions;
• desire to work independently and to have control over one's professional growth;
• good stress and time-management: ability to work on several projects simultaneously;
• self-motivating, excellent communication skills, result- and client-oriented approach, ability to work independently or in a team; and
• proficiency with Office software, online resources and legal databases.

• advising clients on a range of regulatory and antitrust matters;
• drafting merger control and concerted practices filings, transaction and other related documents, memoranda, legal opinions, etc.;
• drafting and reviewing various legal documents for compliance with competition laws;
• advising clients on various competition law matters, including unfair competition, abuse of dominance, analysis of distribution agreements and policies;
• legal research on various topics;
• analysis of the decisions of the Ukrainian Competition Authority; analysis of applicable court practice;
• direct communication with representatives of the Ukrainian Competition Authority and clients;
• participating in due diligence, external negotiations, client meetings, communication with government authorities (including communication during inspections);
• project management, time tracking, supervision / mentoring of junior lawyers and paralegals; and
• active participation in business development activities (publications, legal alerts, speeches, trainings, webinars, participation in conferences, etc.).
