- Drive business expansion through promoting and sales Visa products, payment solutions, value added services for merchants and acquirers in Ukraine.
- Be accountable for assigned accounts of the top merchants, PSP, and acquirers of Ukraine, leading relationship and commercialization of Visas business development objectives with these clients.
- Identify and assess F2F acquiring and eCom development trends, opportunities and threats in Ukraine.
- Qualify, and quantify market specific opportunities in close cooperation with the local Team and understand factors critical to successful cooperation with the merchants and acquirers in Ukraine.
- Ensure the sub-regional merchant solutions strategy and plans are effectively communicated to and understood by the relevant stakeholders in Ukraine.
- Develop a strong understanding of Visas products and services as well as the entire payments industry and ensure their proactive sales to merchants and acquirers.
- Make suggestions to the relevant Visa teams on product improvement, pricing, provide customer feedback, come up with independent ideas on adding products and solutions or adapting them to the requirements of the local market.
- Carry out proactive actions aimed at increasing F2F acquiring and eCom of Visa acceptance in Ukraine, find untapped merchant segments for acceptance, work towards financial literacy of SMEs and its enablement.
- Define, align and achieve business objectives with the subregional merchant sales plans, coordinate the implementation of the sales plans within the constraints of the budget and available resources.
- Collaborate closely with the Local Team, subregional and Dubai-based staff to manage the business, technical, service, and legal relationships and activities with stakeholders (banks, vendors, third parties) and incorporate learnings into the process.
- In conjunction with subregional based staff, manage the provision of consultancy to acquirers, merchants, ISVs, TPAs etc Visa products and solutions.
- Represent Visa by speaking at conferences and business meetings and undertake public relations activities where appropriate.
- Skills Technical/Business.
- Education: Bachelors or MBA.
- Experience: min 3 year eCom experience at Banks/PSPs/Fintech/Payment schemes.
- Knowledge of F2F acquiring and eCom, digital products, payment trends, tools, innovations.
- Superior knowledge of the Ukrainian payment landscape, key players, regulation.
- Ability to identify key strategic issues and to generate and deliver creative and innovative solutions.
- Multicultural sensitivity and interpersonal relationship management, including the ability to work effectively within CEMEA, between regions and with the Global Team
- Strong commercial acumen, P&L responsibility
- Outstanding sales experience and proven negotiating skills.
- Fluent Ukrainian and English
