- Develop and maintain information management network(s) for the UNDP Green Energy Recovery Programme in Ukraine to promote information exchange of high data and information standards;
- Develop coordinatioin tools in the different pillars of energy recovery;
- Support the UNDP Green Energy Recovery Programme Manager with information management, including but not limited to the appeals processes, data collection, assessment and reporting;
- Support the Programme strategic coordination with Information Management capacity in conducting regular meetings at national and sub-national levels;
- Engage with counterparts to ensure that information and data related activities are coordinated consistently with global and national standards and practices;
- Contribute to the design and implement data strategies, and systems that strengthens theProgramme impact assessments and advocate for the use of harmonized data standards and common platforms, and for the open exchange of information.
- Design, develop and manage databases, spreadsheets and other data tools in line with the Programme activities in Ukraine including contacts/distribution lists, etc.;
- Contribute to the development and testing of response monitoring and reporting tools for the Programme.
- Consolidate energy operational information on a regular schedule to support analysis;
- Develop and maintain spatial baseline and operational datasets;
- Maintain a repository of spatial data and ensure that the data are documented and accessible to energy partners through local and/or online services;
- Provide training and expertise on the use and development of information management tools and platforms to broader UNDP Green Energy Recovery Programme and integrated projects as well as national institutions in Ukraine.
- Provide data excerpts and analysis, per the requests of the Green Energy Recovery Programme Manager.
- Lead the information management aspects of assessments and monitoring, including supporting the development and analysis process of joint needs assessments; secondary data reviews, preliminary scenario definitions and rapid assessments and related partner training;
- Providde strategic analyses on the Programme activities that will inform gaps, overlaps and address coordination challenges.
- Adapt existing in-country information management approaches for collecting, analysing, and reporting the Programme activities and resources, and identifying information/data gaps;
- Participate in the development, implementation and management of new indicators, together with its accompanying data, to be included in energy data systems;
- Provide substantive support in developing analytical and communication documentation related to programme activities, including the preparation of donor reports, drafting of concept notes, and data analysis..
- Develop and update high-quality map products and online services;
- Produce and update information products such as reports, snapshots, dashboards, charts and infographics by turning data into graphical products to convey messages and a storyline.
- Support UNDP Ukraine Communications unit to maintain current content on relevant websites, social media platforms and other relevant web platforms;
- Provide overall quality control for the platforms and ensure content is current, comprehensive and follows relevant metadata standards;
- Work with external counterparts on related web platforms such as agency and cluster websites to facilitate cross-site search and interoperability.

- Advanced university degree (Master's Degree) in Data Analysis, information management, information systems, web management, data management, geographic information systems and mapping, economics or other relevant field is required.
Min. years of relevant work experienceMinimum 2 years (with Master's Degree) or 4 years (with Bachelor's Degree) of relevant experience, on the national or international level, in information and data management, analysis, research and policy-level analysis.Experience, knowledge and skills
- Knowledge of office software packages (Word, Excel etc.) is required.
- Experience in digital transformation and information systems implementation in an energy related sector is desirable.
- Experience in writing up analyses of the socio-economic impact assessments is desirable.
- Experience in production of dashboards is desirable.
- Experience within the energy sector or the cluster system in an international organization or non-governmental organization in a complex emergency conflict or post-conflict setting is a strong asset.
- Experience in energy related data analysis, collection, and visualization systems, to include geographic information systems (GIS), within the UN common system is an asset.
- Knowledge of energy standards and norms, information management systems (e.g., EPIMS), and experience using Power BI, SharePoint ecosystem, Excel, Power Point,and Power Automate applications is an advantage.
