DescriptionYou will be part of a team creating advanced surgical assistance tools for orthopedic procedures, integrating medical imaging, diagnostic automation, and machine learning pipelines. The product under test includes a real-time Qt-based tablet interface, secure USB export, and PACS support, used in live clinical environments.Project Description:We are partnering with a global leader in medical devices to develop the next-generation cutting-edge tool used during hip arthroscopy for femoroacetabular impingement (FAI). Client provides surgeons with real-time visualization and measurement capabilities by superimposing virtual tools on X-ray images, enabling precise clinical decision-making. The product will help surgers to plan and to validate the procedures by analyzing 2D images from X-Rays and building 3D objects.Our goal is to enhance the product’s capabilities, improving workflow efficiency and advancing surgical outcomes. This project will involve refining requirements, designing intuitive interfaces, and integrating advanced visualization tools to meet the highest clinical standards.   • 4+ years of experience in test automation
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies (BDD), automation frameworks, and CI/CD processes
  • Experience in testing medical or embedded systems, preferably with real-time imaging
  • Proficiency in .NET and test automation using SpecFlow
  • Experience with web test automation (Selenium)
  • Hands-on experience with gRPC, Protobuf based APIs and their validation
  • Familiarity with Qt/QML/C++ applications GUI testing (via gRPC)
  • Experience with image-based testing (OpenCV) for landmark and alpha-angle detection validation
  • Competence in remote event detection, file encryption, and secure data handling
  • Exposure to cybersecurity testing tools (e.g., Sockets, nmap, sqlmap)
  • Experience with git (GitHub), Test Management Systems (Jira, XRay)
  • Ability to work with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) or software-in-the-loop (SIL) setups, Linux terminal
Preferred:
  • Experience with DICOM, and PACS networking protocols
  • Background in machine learning test data preparation
  • Prior work on medical regulatory testing (FDA/ISO standards)
  • Experience with mobile (Appium)
Job responsibilitiesYou will join a cross-functional team building a medical application to assist in test automation of imaging, diagnostics, and templated reporting functionalities with secure data handling.Responsibilities:
  • Developing BDD-style automated test cases covering medical image processing, UI, and API features according to given requirements (SpecFlow)
  • Validating PACS server integration and image transfer from other third party devices
  • Automating landmark and alpha-angle detection testing using image comparison
  • Ensuring data integrity and encryption during export to USB drives
  • Automating basic security testing (e.g., TCP-fuzz, MITM)
  • Developing performance and stress tests on real hardware setups
  • Collaborating with developers to define test hooks and APIs for gray-box testing
  • Covering test system with semi-automated unittests; participation in test system validation
  • Participation in on-going test automation activities, regressions, dry-runs and formal runs
  • Working with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable automated test execution and reporting
