TUI is the largest leisure, travel and tourism company globally, and it owns travel agencies, hotels, airlines, cruise ships and retail shops.As a Cloud Engineer, you will join a high-performing, cross-functional team dedicated to delivering reliable, secure, and scalable cloud solutions across TUI’s global digital ecosystem. You will play a key role in driving operational excellence and enhancing our cloud capabilities by working closely with development teams, architects, and stakeholders.With a strong DevSecOps mindset and passion for automation, you will influence system architecture, shape engineering practices, and ensure our platforms are observable, maintainable, and resilient. Your work will directly impact the availability, performance, and scalability of our cloud-native systems.ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain secure and scalable cloud-native solutions using AWS and modern infrastructure toolsEnsure system observability and support effective change, configuration, and incident management processesContribute to the improvement of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevSecOps maturitySupport production environments by enabling rapid response to incidents and minimizing downtimePromote best practices in cloud solution architecture, infrastructure-as-code, security, and reliabilityCollaborate with product teams to embed operational readiness and quality throughout the development lifecycleQualificationsProven hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including architecture and deployment of distributed systemsStrong expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and TerragruntExperience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab CI or JenkinsSolid understanding of DevSecOps practices and automation-first approachesProficient with monitoring/observability tools (e.g., Datadog) and incident management platforms (e.g., PagerDuty)Competency in a programming or scripting language such as Python, Node.js, or BashStrong experience with Linux system administration and understanding of Windows systemsGood working knowledge of networking and security principles, including DNS, firewalls, load balancing, and VPNsExperience with Kubernetes cluster administration and orchestration * Upper-intermediate level of spoken and written EnglishPwrteams offers:
