- 3-5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role with hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure and automation.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.) and automation frameworks.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and managing cloud-based services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.
- Proficient with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, networking, and shell scripting (Bash, Python, etc.).
- Understanding of security practices related to DevOps, including securing pipelines, infrastructure, and deployments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues.
- Ability to collaborate with development teams to integrate new technologies and tools to improve the development lifecycle.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies, and how DevOps integrates with these frameworks.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automating software delivery, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure applications are optimized for deployment on cloud platforms (AWS) or on-premise infrastructure.
- Manage and monitor cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Develop and maintain monitoring and logging systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) to ensure the health and performance of systems.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement best practices in securing infrastructure, application deployments, and environments.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, monitor system performance, and ensure uptime of applications in both development and production environments.
- Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and troubleshooting guides.
- Drive automation and implement DevOps best practices to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Optimize system performance by identifying bottlenecks, improving scalability, and implementing performance monitoring strategies.
- Lead or assist in disaster recovery planning and ensure infrastructure resilience across multiple environments.
- Support the continuous improvement of DevOps processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation.
