The OpportunityWe are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Lviv, Ukraine. In this role, you will support our US-based finance team with day-to-day accounting activities, monthly reporting, and ongoing process improvements.   • Full-time, Monday to Friday
  • Location: Lviv, Ukraine - Onsite
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support the month-end close process, including journal entry preparation and reconciliations
  • Assist with monthly account reconciliations
  • Help with commission tracking and reporting
  • Prepare schedules and documentation for audits and internal reporting
  • Collaborate with the US finance team on accounts payable, payroll support, and general ledger tasks
  • Participate in system implementation support (e.g., billing platform)
  • Assist with maintaining compliance with internal controls
  • Contribute to special projects and assist in improving accounting processes
Required Experience and Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance (internships included)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals
  • Experience with US GAAP is a plus
  • Prior work with international teams or in a multinational environment is a plus
  • Skills and Knowledge
  • Good Excel skills - comfortable with formulas, formatting, and data analysis
  • Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Clear written and verbal communication in English (required)
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, international environment
