The Patient Centricity Lead ensures that the experiences and needs of patients are a priority in everything we do. This person will build strong relationships with patient organizations, collect patient feedback, and make sure patient voices are reflected in drug development, access, and support. You will lead programs and initiatives that support patients and improve their quality of life throughout their healthcare journey.Key Responsibilities:
- Build partnerships with patient organizations and community leaders, organize regular meetings and support patient engagement activities.
- Gather and share patient feedback with AstraZeneca teams (such as research, product development, and marketing) to make our medicines and services better for patients.
- Develop and organize patient engagement programs, such as focus groups, advisory boards, and educational events.
- Represent patient interests at external events, industry forums, and in discussions with healthcare professionals and government authorities.
- Work closely with colleagues from different departments to help everyone understand the value of patient centricity.
- Track the results of patient engagement activities and prepare reports and recommendations for company leadership.
We are looking for someone with:
- A higher education degree, ideally in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, public health, or a related field.
- At least 3 years' experience in patient advocacy, the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector, or working with patient organizations.
- Good command of English (spoken and written) is required, as communication with international teams and partners is an essential part of the job.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to organize events, collect and analyze feedback, and prepare reports.
- Motivation to work with different people and readiness to develop new skills and grow professionally.
