Find more details on our corporate website: www.cemark.uaCEMARK has an exciting opportunity to join the CAPEX Projects team as a Contract Manager who will be responsible for managing all contractual aspects of capital investment projects, ensuring that agreements are aligned with corporate policies, legal requirements, and project objectives. This role involves contract negotiation, administration, risk management, and compliance oversight to ensure effective execution of Capex projects within budget, schedule, and regulatory constraints.Key responsibilities:Contract Management & Administration:
  • Develop, review, and manage contracts (incl. tender pack, RFP) for Capex projects, including EPC, supply, and service agreements, design, construction contracts.
  • Ensure proper documentation, execution, and storage of contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Track contract milestones, obligations, and deliverables to ensure compliance.
Negotiation & Vendor Management:
  • Lead contract negotiations with suppliers, contractors, and service providers to secure favourable terms.
  • Ensure contracts reflect project requirements, risk allocation, and cost control measures.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and stakeholders.
Risk & Compliance Management:
  • Identify contractual risks and propose mitigation strategies to protect the company's interests.
  • Ensure all contracts comply with internal policies, legal regulations, and procurement guidelines.
  • Support dispute resolution and claims management, working closely with legal and project teams.
Cost & Performance Monitoring:
  • Monitor contract expenditures and ensure alignment with project budgets.
  • Assess supplier performance against contractual obligations and propose corrective actions if needed.
  • Support cost control efforts by identifying potential savings and contract optimization opportunities.
Coordination & Reporting:
  • Collaborate with project managers, procurement, finance, and legal teams to align contract terms with project execution plans.
  • Provide regular reports on contract status, risks, and financial commitments to senior management.
  • Continuously improve contract management processes and best practices.
Key requirements:Minimum 7-10 years of procurement/contracting/tendering experience, including 3+ years in Capex or industrial projectsContracting & Legal Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of contract law, procurement regulations, and risk management in capital projects.
  • Experience with FIDIC, EPC, and other industry-standard contract models highly valued.
Negotiation & Communication:
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure favourable contract terms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Project & Cost Management:
  • Experience in managing large-scale contracts in capital investment projects.
  • Understanding of cost structures, budgeting, and financial implications of contracts.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
  • Ability to assess contractual risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Detail-oriented approach to reviewing legal and financial terms.
Systems & Tools Proficiency:
  • Familiarity with contract management software, ERP systems (SAP and Ariba), and MS Excel.
  • Experience in using project management tools and reporting dashboards.
