- Proven track record in mobile F2P game design, ideally with puzzle or logic games.
- Experience in building game design systems from scratch and scaling processes within a growing team.
- Strong analytical background – experience working as an analyst, monetization expert, or system designer is a big plus.
- Expert-level Excel skills – you’re comfortable modeling game systems and balancing data-heavy features.
- Experience with LiveOps — designing events, seasonal content, and engagement loops.
- Comfortable owning both high-level strategy and hands-on design details.
- Ability to work across multiple teams and projects simultaneously.
- Strong people leadership skills — you’ve built and mentored teams, and can scale culture as well as capability.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration — especially with production and analytics.
- Can work well in unclear situations and adapt to change quickly.
- High sense of ownership — you care deeply about product quality, team success, and player satisfaction.
- Experience as a switcher from analytics or monetization into game design.
- Familiarity with F2P monetization models and game economy balancing.
- Experience working in companies with a strong product-driven culture.
- Background in live puzzle games, word or logic-based genres is a big plus.
- Own the overall game design direction across multiple projects — from core mechanics and systems to content loops and monetization.
- Collaborate closely with producers, analysts, and product leads to align design with business and player goals.
- Establish and maintain design processes, quality standards, and documentation across all game design disciplines [core, meta, economy, LiveOps].
- Build and lead a high-performing game design team — from hiring and mentoring to setting performance expectations and growing future leaders.
- Guide the creation of content and events that support LiveOps strategies and drive key KPIs [retention, engagement, monetization].
- Drive data-informed design decisions in collaboration with analysts, leveraging player behavior insights and A/B testing.
- Act as the domain expert and final authority on design quality and cohesion across all game features and live content.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure smooth communication between design, development, and operations.
