- In collaboration with the USC, evaluate and monitor existing security measures for the safeguarding of MWH personnel, property and premises and operations. Monitor adherence to Security and Safety procedures and practice. Identify gaps and recommend solutions and/or arrange for their improvement.
- Review and monitor the premises' security and relocation, provide briefing on any new security measures and instructions.
- Support the operations and management of the Warden System, including the conduct of exercises and administer the Emergency Communication System.
- Participate in organizing and delivering security briefings and training courses on security awareness and preparedness and arrange for security briefings for newly appointed staff, visitors and drivers.
- Report security incidents affecting MWH personnel, offices and assets and assist the USC in investigations, preparation of security reports in a timely manner according to SSMP guidelines.
- Liaises, as appropriate, with Implementing Partners of Project, as well as non-governmental organizations and other non-State actors in the area of operations. As required, attend security cell meetings and other security-related activities of MWH in his/her area of responsibilities.
- Ensure comprehensive security support for international representatives and consultants during their stay in Ukraine, includes continuous monitoring of the security situation, timely risk communication, escort services when necessary, and ensuring access to safe locations and shelters.
- Supports MWH USC in the tracking of mission personnel movements in Area of Operations according to prior arrangements and ensure proper communication.
- Performs other work-related tasks as assigned.
- Military or police experience.
- Military or Police Academy or other relevant fields of education
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, including office administration management
- At least three years of relevant work experience, preferably within the Ukrainian Safety and Security sector
- Professional experience working with USAID and an international humanitarian and/or development organization
- Detail-oriented with good organization and prioritization skills
- Demonstrate analytical and administrative skills, as well as resourcefulness and initiative
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook, and knowledge management platforms such as Sharepoint or Box
- Written and spoken fluency in Ukrainian
- Excellent written and spoken fluency in English
- Successful completion of a full course of university studies attested by a diploma or Equivalent Police/Military/Security education, where the normal duration of university education in the country awarded is three (3) years or more.
- After having obtained a university degree, at least five (5) years of relevant and proven full-time professional experience in the private and/or public sector.
