- Provide leadership in establishing the strategy, key principles and develop the roadmap and drive the execution working with a cross functional team for Visa's digital products across the 17 CISSEE markets
- Support local and hub team strategies for the geography and function including managing alignment between global, hub and local teams, developing and articulating strategic recommendations, and delivering on all major project milestones
- Lead communication and collaboration between Digital Solutions and cross functional teams across Visa.
- Lead respective team on strategic decision-making and product implementation
- Manage market research, analysis, and derive market intelligence around digital trends and portfolios to articulate relevant business insights and management considerations on a proactive and timely basis, addressing emerging trends and opportunities related to regional Digital Solutions
- Drive commercialization of Digital solutions in CISSEE including directly working with market teams and clients to identify leads, supporting client pitches, maintaining pipeline of opportunities, overseeing the implementation process, reporting to senior management on uptake and performance, and working with cross-functional teams to implement and promote products
- Support prioritization of strategic initiatives in relation to local needs, and evaluate investment opportunities for strategic relevance and financial value
- Serve as a Digital “Center of Expertise” by managing a set of client and partner relationships.
- Serve as liaison to strategic partners, key clients and stakeholders in support of regional DS strategies, programs and objectives
- Lead creation of presentation materials for various management events including conferences, major client events, and business reviews to management teams.
- Actively represent Visa as a Digital SME in a range of client forums and media engagements
- Strategic goal-setting, planning and budget responsibility
- External contact with C-level executives with external organizations (banking, mobile, startup etc.)
- Master's degree in business, computer science, technology or related field
- 10+ years of experience in payments industry, digital and technology and with progressively responsible experience in managing staff
- A very strong understanding of payments transaction processing landscape in both card present and card not present environments
- Proven track record of high performance and recognized as a subject matter expert in digital payments
- Strong domain knowledge & prior implementation experience in Digital Products & payment technology solutions (in at three of five key areas: Contactless/EMV Chip/NFC payments, Mobile payments, eCommerce, Tokenization, Authentication)
- Advanced communication skills with the ability to strongly influence and direct others at all levels
- An ability to adjust messaging according to the audience, from going deep into the technical design and implementation of a solution with development and technology teams to providing an overview of product strategy and proposition to Visa management, clients and partners.
- Experience with product development and solutioning methodology for technology products, including direct involvement in the development of product vision, requirements gathering, functional design and technical implementation.
- An ability to translate product complexities into practical business solutions appropriate for Visa's clients and partners.
- Being able to be analytical and fact-based when necessary to defend product roadmap decisions and given the changing nature of and uncertainty inherent in the digital payments space, being a flexible and creative thinker able to craft solutions to business opportunities.
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to drive consensus in cross regional and cross functional teams.

- Strong interpersonal skills will be required to address ongoing needs of a complex, matrix reporting structure, and multinational organization.
- Multicultural sensitivity and interpersonal relationship management skills are essential including the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Travel: the role holder must have the ability to travel from time to time (6-8 times in a year)
