- Operate Mercy Corps office vehicles in the above locations or other routes/locations as assigned by supervisor
- Fill in and maintain vehicle log-sheets in accordance with Field Fleet Management Policy.
- Check the vehicle conditions after each trip/routinely – report needs and problems to Fleet Officer\Dispatcher at the location.
- Adhere to all safety and communication protocols as advised by Mercy Corps and supervisor.
- Responsible for the safekeeping of the vehicle’s equipment, tools, first aid kits, spares etc.
- Keep all vehicles ready, clean and on standby – ready for use at all times.
- Collect and submit vehicle related receipts to the Fleet Officer at the location.
- Assist Fleet Officer/Dispatcher and Admin Officer/Assistant at the location in preparing vehicle-related reports where necessary.
- Ensure security measures for vehicles such as parking, storage of keys, emergency supplies, etc.
- Ensure that security incident reports are completed and filed (if related to vehicles)
- Ensure that accident reports are completed and filed.
- Assist with logistics functions in office daily workloads.
- Report all maintenance needs of the vehicle to Fleet Officer/Dispatcher on a regular basis.
- Conduct himself/herself both professionally and personally in such a manner as to bring credit to Mercy Corps and to not jeopardize its humanitarian mission in country of operation.
- Coordination under Administrative Officer/Administrative Assistant/Fleet Dispatcher guidance, of all Mercy Corps rented facilities, including offices, guesthouses, etc.
- Ensure facilities and offices are coordinated in compliance with Field Facilities and Office Management Manual.
- Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of the office equipment and other facilities.
- Work with a positive, proactive attitude and demonstrate respect for all colleagues.

- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a driver, including vehicles with manual transmission in cities and highways.
- Valid driver’s license and experience in driving 4x4 vehicles, passenger, and cargo vans.
- Must respect and adhere to all safety and traffic rules applicable in Ukraine and other countries during visits thereto.
- Fluency in Ukrainian, pre-intermediate knowledge of English, along with good writing and verbal skills are required to be able to compose the documentation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of routes, duty stations, project areas.
- Experience at NGO and diplomatic community is an asset.
