  • Strong 2+ years professional Perl software development experience
  • Perl experience with the ability to utilize XML-aware modules and XPath
  • Solid experience with powershell scripting
  • Familiarity with one or more XML tools: XQuery, XSLT, Schematron
  • Experience with common development tools and familiarity with source code control software such as SVN/Git
  • Background in modernizing development environments
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to effectively communicate and translate feedback, needs and solutions
Job responsibilities
  • Work in a backlog of improvements and new features along with other roles within GL and the client.
  • Deliver new functionality and maintain core product components
  • Contribute to engineering efforts from planning to delivery
  • Work closely with product management, UX designer and backend team to implement
  • Deliver appropriate documentation and maintain communication regarding deliveries
  • Provide the code quality through code review, integration tests, and other best practices
  • Direct daily communication with client team members.
