Since 2015, Tdh has been providing various services to children, youth and their families in the conflict affected area, with a strong focus on psychosocial support.For more information, please checkThe ICT and Logistics Officer will be responsible for overseeing the organization's ICT infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems while also providing support in logistics and administrative duties. The role will be divided into 75% ICT-related tasks and 25% logistics support tasks and will involving travelling to Tdh field office as needed.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESICT Task (75%)
  • Work in close collaboration with all employees to ensure all ICT hardware and software is up to date.
  • Work with field office staff, country and regional ICT management to ensure timely delivery of ICT project activities and resolution of ICT issues.
  • Conduct ICT inductions and other relevant training sessions to ensure that staff possess the knowledge and skills commensurate with their responsibilities in using the technologies being implemented in Tdh.
  • Manage installation, configuration, maintenance, repair, security and documentation of local area networks, desktop/laptop computers, communication resources and other office equipment.
  • Enforce network security policies, maintain firewall rules, and perform regular security sweeps for new vulnerabilities.
  • Verify and provide technical consultancy to procurement regarding purchasing spare parts for ICT equipment and ensuring equipment purchased are of the right specifications and conform to the Tdh standard specifications.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all TDH computers and network resources.
  • Implement and manage backup solutions for office/individual users as per Tdh ICT recommendations and provide the necessary training on the use of these back-up solutions.
  • Create and maintain Tdh computer software/hardware inventory ensuring accuracy.
  • Create and maintain network documentation to include but not limited to IP address, system access, email creation system, upgrades and changes to original network, etc.
  • Diagnose hardware and software faults by questioning clients patiently about a problem and explaining the procedures to them.
  • Conducting regular physical inventory.
  • Able to prepare SOPs for the team to follow, seeking validations before publishing.
  • Closely collaborate with HQ IT team on helpdesk
  • Ensure the correct affectation of equipment according to Tdh & donors rules and regulation.
  • Ensure Tdh networking procedures are followed at Field Level.
  • Make recommendations for new equipment and services to purchase and works with various vendors for procurement liaising with the logistics manager.
  • In coordination with line manager, identify good vendors for the supply/support services of ICT materials.
  • Working on ensuring all means of communication (Broadband internet, VHF/HF Radio communication and satellite communication) are operating correctly.
  • Monitoring communications costs by putting log sheet in place.
  • Providing Monthly report and site visit report.
  • Travel to bases to help support setup the ICT infrastructure and able to give remote support.
  • Perform other task as directed by the Logistics manager or backup.
Operations Task (25%)
  • Assist in the procurement of IT-related goods and services, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
  • Ensure good level of communication between teams.
  • Support office space management, including seating arrangements and facility upkeep.
  • Taking lead in identifying realtors and other operators in finding new premises if needed.
  • Coordinate and manage service contracts with vendors for office maintenance, security, and utilities.
  • Provide support in managing office vehicle scheduling, maintenance, and fuel tracking in Kyiv.
  • Preparation of office rental and utilities payments, main focal point with landlords. Handling repairs.
  • Prepare related SOPs
YOUR PROFILE
  • University degree in Information technology, Computer science, Information System or other relevant degree from a recognized institution
  • Valid driving license
  • At least 3 years’ experience in ICT management. International NGO experience is an added advantage.
  • Excellent spoken and technical writing ability in English & Ukranian, including report writing.
  • Good knowledge of Ukrainian Laws.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize;
  • Good knowledge of the Windows operating environment and office software packages (MS Office 2010, 2016 and/or newer versions) and Microsoft 365 Enterprise,
  • Good knowledge of IT troubleshooting and maintenance,
  • Good Knowledge of networks and wireless technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in multicultural, multidisciplinary environment.
