- Develop, adapt and regularly update the project MEAL plan in line with donor requirements.
- Develop and align the logical framework (logframe), indicators, means of verification and target values.
- Design data collection tools (questionnaires, checklists, databases).
- Ensure integration of the MEAL component across all stages of project implementation.
- Organise systematic data collection across all project indicators.
- Ensure data quality assurance (DQA).
- Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to assess project progress.
- Prepare regular analytical updates for the project team.
- Track progress against results, including outputs, outcomes and impact.
- Provide guidance to the project team on data collection processes and indicators..
- Design and conduct baseline, mid-term and final project evaluations.
- Conduct thematic studies, needs assessments and impact analyses.
- Document lessons learned and best practices.
- Develop recommendations to improve project implementation.
- Support the integration of learning into ongoing activities and future programming.
- Prepare inputs for regular donor reporting.
- Ensure compliance of reporting with ECHO requirements.
- Participation in development data visualisations (dashboards, tables, charts).
- Support donor audits, monitoring visits and evaluations.
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences, public health, statistics, economics, international development, or a related field.
- At least 2 year of professional experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL), M&E, or data management within humanitarian or development projects.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing MEAL systems, including logframes, indicators, and data collection tools.
- Experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting, including both quantitative and qualitative methods.
- Understanding of protection principles, data confidentiality, and ethical standards in humanitarian programming.
- Familiarity with donor requirements and reporting standards (e.g., USAID, UN, EU).
- Experience in data quality assurance (DQA) and data verification processes.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Ukrainian.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience conducting evaluations (baseline, midline, endline) and assessments.
- Knowledge of data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, Power BI, Kobo, ODK, DHIS2 or similar tools).
