This project focuses on enhancing the resilience, reliability, affordability, and security of the electricity, natural gas, and district heating sectors. The scope of work includes addressing immediate challenges and physical damage to energy infrastructure, as well as preparing for Ukraine’s post-war reconstruction and long-term energy security.Position SummaryTetra Tech is recruiting a Project Execution and Logistics Specialist who will manage the delivery and supply of goods and materials for the needs of Ukraine’s energy sector.Position Responsibilities
  • Serve as the in-country logistics supervisor, overseeing the delivery of goods and materials procured through Tetra Tech to Ukraine in a manner that is efficient and compliant with applicable law and regulations.
  • Supervise workflow with subcontracted local customs and tax specialists to ensure efficient and compliant movement of goods.
  • Oversee final disbursement of goods, prepare and coordinate official handover paperwork with recipients in compliance with U.S. government regulations.
  • Assist with tracking and maintaining all necessary documentation, timelines and updates related to the insurance policy to ensure smooth coordination and compliance.
  • Manage branding and marking of all U.S. government-procured items.
  • Monitor deliveries by updating spreadsheets and reporting tools as required.
  • Other relevant duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant logistics, supply chain, or operations within Ukraine
  • Experience and knowledge of the landscape of logistics, shipping, and customs requirements within Ukraine.
  • Excellent organizational skills to meet deadlines
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Detail-oriented, ability to work independently
  • Fluent in Ukrainian and professional knowledge of Russian language
  • Professional knowledge of English
Preferred but Not Required Qualifications
  • Experience supporting U.S. government or donor-funded projects
Line Management Responsibility: Logistics and Project Execution AssistantPhysical Demands and Work Environment: This will be a hybrid position, but will require frequent, regular attendance at the office in Kyiv, and may entail occasional travel within Ukraine for interaction with local stakeholders.
