- Establishing and maintaining relations with stakeholders; ensuring co-ordination of planning and conduct of the project with key partners inside and outside the Organization, project beneficiaries and donors; Managing inter-agency coordination meetings with national stakeholders in the area of his/her responsibility; providing advice and recommendations on required inputs from national partners in support of the project activities; representing the OSCE at local, national, regional conferences and events at the request of the supervisors; attending national and international conferences; participating - also as a speaker - at meetings with international partners or agencies.
- Assembling and synthesizing data to facilitate the analysis of project activities, and to draft periodic or ad hoc reports; consolidating and monitoring various reports on project human resources planning and expenditures, the use of non-staff resources, the programme / projects' communication and publishing plans as well as travel schedules ensuring maintenance and retrieval of reference material, documentation, data and information pertinent to his/her area of responsibility.
- Coordinating and leading organization of project events, meetings, workshops and other activities as required.
- Conducting research and needs assessments, supporting knowledge building and knowledge sharing across the programme through training of staff and briefing of budget holders on administrative/budgetary/planning/programming/financial procedures and processes; reviewing current processes and making recommendations to improve programme/projects administration procedures.
- Supervising lower grade general service staff.
- Completed secondary education, supplemented by specialized training or formal studies in the field relevant for the project (such as International Law and/or Law).
- Minimum seven years of relevant working experience in the field of rule of law, human rights, or international cooperation.
- Experience in project planning, development, implementation and reporting.
- Managerial experience would be an asset.
- Established knowledge and understanding of the developments in the justice and rule of law sector.
- Ability to conduct independent research and collect information from a variety of sources.
- Professional fluency in English and Ukrainian with excellent communication (both oral and written) skills.
- Demonstrated gender awareness and sensitivity, and an ability to integrate a gender perspective into tasks and activities.
- Ability and willingness to work as a member of team, with people of different cultural, and religious backgrounds, different gender, and diverse political views, while maintaining impartiality and objectivity.
- Computer literate with practical experience using Microsoft applications.
