Description:We are a growing accounting firm seeking a General Ledger Specialist to join our General Ledger Team.The successful candidate will assume end-to-end responsibility for general ledger accounting for a portfolio of four legal entities, ensuring accurate records, timely reporting, and compliance with applicable accounting standards.This position is ideal for a hands-on accountant with a solid understanding of accounting principles, who is comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with auditors, the wider GL Team, and internal stakeholders.We will trust you to:Manage end-to-end general ledger accounting for assigned entitiesPrepare, post, and review accruals, provisions, and recurring and non-recurring journal entriesPerform bank postings and cash-related accounting activities, including support of cash flow reportingConduct balance sheet reviews and analyses, providing clear explanations of account movements and balancesPerform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepanciesMonitor accounting activities across entities to ensure accuracy and consistencyPrepare high-quality documentation and structured responses to audit requestsProvide active support during internal and external auditsEnsure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company proceduresContribute accounting insights and recommendations relating to entity-level changes and transactionsRequirements:2-3 years of professional experience in accounting; general ledger experience preferredStrong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting processesProven experience with:Accruals and journal entriesBalance sheet reconciliationsAccount analysisAbility to analyze financial data and clearly communicate accounting movements and variancesExperience liaising with auditors or external partiesVery good command of English (B2 or higher, written and spoken)Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlinesDemonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership within a team-based environmentNice to have:Experience with SAPBackground in an accounting firm or shared services centerKnowledge of US GAAPBenefits:Supportive and collaborative work environment with multinational teamsExposure to U.S.-based clients and international accounting practicesFlexible working model, including remote or hybrid optionsOpportunity to work with multinational organizationsCareer development opportunities, including expansion of responsibilities and portfolioOngoing mentorship and support from senior managementWhy is CKH the best choice?CKH is a boutique accounting & financial services firm that provides local expertise aided by global experience.
