We're looking for a motivated Junior Java Developer (also open to final-year technical students) to help build and evolve server-side components for telecom/IoT platforms. You'll work with Java and modern frameworks, contribute to new features, and learn from experienced engineers on international projects.What You'll Do:Develop and maintain server-side services in Java (Java EE/Jakarta EE: Servlets, EJB, JMS).Contribute to the design and implementation of new platform features.Work with network protocols (TCP/UDP) for low-latency, real-time communication.Debug, profile, and optimize application performance.Collaborate with senior developers, QA, and DevOps to deliver production-quality releases.Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to automated tests.What We're Looking For:Foundational knowledge of Java SE/EE (coursework, internship, or pet projects).Familiarity with Enterprise Java concepts (Servlets, EJB, JMS, Jakarta EE).Understanding of computer networks (focus on TCP/UDP).Basic experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).Understanding of REST APIs and socket programming.Version control (Git) basics.English at least Intermediate (documentation and written communication).Nice to Have:Knowledge of message brokers and asynchronous processing.Experience with Linux basics, containers, or cloud services.What the Company OffersOfficial employment under Ukrainian labor law (paid vacation ~24 days, sick leave).Mentorship and growth path within a telecom/IoT domain.Exposure to international projects and real production constraints.Supportive, collaborative team culture.Competitive compensation with clear opportunities to grow.Work Format:
