Trade/Administrative AssistantLocation: Pakistan Embassy Kyiv, UKRAINEApplication Deadline: 30 Apr, 2026Type of Assignment: ContractLanguages Required: Fluent in both Ukrainian and EnglishExpected Duration of 02 years (Yearly Contract), extendable to 5 Years
Assignment:Salary: USD 800/-Interviews: 04-09 May, 2026 (in person; however, on request, online interviews can also be organized)Qualifications and Experience
  • Age limit preferable (25 to 40 years)
  • Preferably a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, International Affairs, or similar fields is required (with English as a First Language)
  • Excellent communication skills, with emphasis on clear and succinct written reporting.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Note: The Embassy reserves the right to terminate the contract on a one-month notice, and this decision cannot be challenged in any court of law.Charter of Duties of Trade/Administrative AssistantThe key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Communication with stakeholders about events like trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, etc.
  • Updating Pak-Ukraine bilateral trade data monthly and preparing market reports on Ukraine's main imports, exports (particularly with Pakistan), market trends, and opportunities for further cooperation.
  • Liaise with the Ukrainian government agencies on the current and future policies and regulations on foreign trade, transportation, infrastructure, emerging technologies, etc.
  • Liaise with the Ministries, Chambers, and other Government/Private agencies of Ukraine involved in Trade and Investment Promotion.
  • Assist Pakistani/Ukrainian companies wishing to export/import/invest to establish contacts in Ukraine/Pakistan.
  • Assist/ensure participation of the Embassy in trade fairs/exhibitions/conferences held in Ukraine.
  • Assist in arranging trade, tourism, and investment promotion events hosted by the Embassy.
  • Preparation of documentation, submission to relevant offices (i.e., relevant to banks, payment of bills, transfer of funds, VAT, etc.), and its translation.
  • Conduct administrative tasks such as managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, maintaining calendars, filtering telephone calls, and organizing the programs of visiting delegations from Pakistan.
  • Handle document translation (incoming and outgoing) and establish continuous communication with various entities.
  • Act as an Assistant to the Head of Mission/Deputy Head of Mission and receive/conduct visiting guests.
  • Any other official duty assigned by the Head of Mission.
