Freightender is a fast growing logistics procurement platform and supports many large multinationals with streamlining their freight sourcing and rate management operations. We are a lean and mean company but to keep up with our growth we need to expand our organisational structure and that is why we are looking for a Java Developer to play a leading and guiding role in one of our product development teams.What You'll Do

Perform **manual testing** of our web platform, ensuring high-quality releases.
Design and execute test cases, test plans, and test reports.
Identify, document, and track bugs using Jira or similar tools.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to improve software quality.
Work on API testing using Postman or similar tools.
Gradually transition into automation testing, focusing on UI and API test automation.
Assist Technical Support in troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis.
Liaise and work closely with the Freightender Development team.
Analyze test results and deliver summaries and recommendations to the product team.
Investigate script failures in test plans, modify scripts and libraries, and log product defects.
Develop and maintain test libraries used for automated unit and regression test suites.
Work with the Development team to perform code reviews and assist with debugging and profiling.
Initiate and participate in efforts to improve group productivity and test effectiveness.

Experience: * 3+ years in *manual testing* of web applications.

Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, test case design, bug tracking.
*Basic coding knowledge* (Java, or JavaScript) or willingness to learn.
*API Testing:* Experience with *Postman, REST API testing*.
*Automation Interest:** You are motivated to transition into automation testing.
*Good communication skills** in English.

Nice to Have * Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, TestNG.

Knowledge of CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Familiarity with performance testing (JMeter, Gatling).
