VAT & Statutory Compliance ManagerDescription:
We are looking for a VAT & Statutory Compliance Manager with strong accounting knowledge. You will prepare and oversee monthly tasks for our clients across Europe and be a key figure supporting the team during quarterly and year-end audits and in the preparation of CIT returns.We will trust you to:

Control the process of monthly tasks such as VAT, Intrastat reporting, payroll coordination, BS reconciliations, and internal controls.
Review reconciliations, ensure high-quality monthly reporting, and resolve outstanding items.
Analyze accounts monthly to identify unusual or irregular transactions and recommend resolutions.
Participate in year-end financial close activities.
Work with auditors on PBC preparation and support tax audits with required data.
Coordinate with external consultants on annual CIT questionnaires.
Assist with ad-hoc accounting, tax, and finance projects.
Lead the team to ensure smooth operations of transactional activities and monthly reporting.
Provide guidance to junior staff and mentor them to meet all client deadlines.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
Strong understanding of VAT, CIT, and accounting; good knowledge of accounting principles and taxation.
Experience working with European countries is a plus.
5-7 years' experience in accounting & taxation.
3+ years' experience managing a team.
Strong leadership and delegation skills.
Good MS Office skills, especially Excel.
SAP knowledge is a plus.
Fluency in English (written and verbal).
Fluency in a second language is appreciated (e.g., German, Italian, Dutch, French).
Good communication skills with a proactive, supportive, and positive approach.
