- Lead on development for high level proposal to national and international donors submitted in English or Ukrainian language
- Lead the process of building on headquarter fundraising strategy and its execution in line with the organisation's objectives,
- Lead the process of building on headquarter strategy of engagement with donors, covering trusts & foundations, government & private donors including major donors and corporates and its execution,
- Create and build up a strong long-lasting network of Street Child Ukraine donors in Ukraine and worldwide, working closely with SC central fundraising teams,
- Identify, cultivate, and secure partnerships with donors whose mission and vision are aligned with Stret Child goals,
- Coordinate with strong humanitarian and development organisations on submitting multisectoral proposals,
- Organise and maintain campaigns and events that focus on fundraising and resource attraction
- Creation of presentations and information materials for potential donors,
- Building network of relationships with donors and supporters,
- Establish and maintain communication channels with donors and supporters,
- Conducting research on potential donors and funding opportunities in Ukraine an outside.
- Lead a process of building on headquarter communications plan for Street Child Ukraine, including gathering high-quality written and visual content from programmes,
- Represent organisation on national and global level to attract potential donors,
- Communicate with private and institutional donors (including private foundations, public trusts, governmental donors, bilateral aid agencies in Europe, Asia and Americas) for Street Child projects and activities in Ukraine,
- Represent organisation at stakeholder, donor, coordination meetings and events,
- Lead a communication flow with Street Child Ukraine programmes team and pool of experts on writing winning proposals,
- Communicate with Street Child Ukraine programmes team to be aware of current projects and build on future successes,
- Engage with Communication department at headquarter to ensure headquarter includes Street Child Ukraine projects in their information campaigns and engagement with external audience,
- Communicate with Street Child fundraising teams in headquarter, Europe and America in order to create a strong coordination in fundraising efforts and alignment with organizational fundraising or donor relationship strategy.
- Carry out all reasonable requests that are within the broad remit of the role,
- A strong commitment to Street Child’s vision, mission, and values,
- Adhere to all Street Child’s policies and procedures.
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills,
- Excellent storytelling skills both in English and Ukrainian,
- At least 5 years of work experience in donor relations, donor management, fundraising at senior position,
- Demonstrated experience in securing six-figures institutional and philanthropic funds,
- Knowledge in pitching ideas to donors in humanitarian or developmental context,
- Experience in creating fundraising activities and campaigns,
- Experience of working in humanitarian or development sectors in Ukraine, preferably in education or child protection,
- Experience in creation of donor’s relationship strategy or similar,
- Experience using digital tools such as Google Analytics, email marketing platforms and social media management tools,
- Ability to work independently on a range of tasks and to take initiative to take on further responsibilities as appropriate,
- Ability to gather, store, share information related to projects and pass information to other team members in structural way.
- Secondary School Diploma.
