DescriptionOur client is focused on developing a robust and versatile data ingestion pipeline and associated schema designed to efficiently and accurately collect, process, analyze, and manage diverse data types from various sources in real-time or near real-time. This pipeline will automate and enhance data workflows, ensure data quality, and support advanced analytical capabilities including NLP, Face Recognition, and OCR.As a Middle DevOps Engineer on the project, you will play a crucial role in managing deployment, infrastructure, automation, and monitoring. You will be instrumental in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud resources, ensuring system stability and performance, and implementing robust logging and alerting mechanisms for the client platform.   • Solid experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably in a project involving complex data pipelines or large-scale data processing.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and their services.
  • Demonstrated experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
  • Understanding of database concepts, particularly PostgreSQL.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Job responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automated and consistent provisioning of infrastructure components.
  • Manage and optimize cloud resources (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) for scalable data storage and processing, including servers and networking components.
  • Configure and manage containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes or cloud-managed Kubernetes services).
  • Implement and maintain robust logging solutions (ELK Stack or Splunk) and monitoring systems (Prometheus and Grafana, cloud-specific monitoring tools).
  • Ensure system stability, performance, and high availability, especially for high-volume real-time data ingestion.
  • Collaborate closely with the Development Team, Architect, and Project Manager to ensure seamless integration and deployment of SparX components.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure and deployment-related issues.
  • Contribute to the security of the platform by implementing IAM and secrets management solutions.
  • Planned and unplanned maintenance of DEV/QA/Staging and Production environments
