Previous experience or training in hospitality or kitchen cleaning is a plus
Food Safety/HACCP certification required
Basic knowledge of food safety standards
Must possess a valid passport and seaman's book
Fluent in oral and written English (minimum A2 level); additional languages are a plus
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES * Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of all galley areas as per the daily and deep-cleaning schedules
Operate cleaning machinery and use authorized cleaning chemicals as trained
Ensure proper handling, storage, and maintenance of all cleaning tools and equipment
Support the galley team during provision loading as directed
Follow all United States Public Health (USPH) rules and safety regulations
Apply food safety and hygiene practices in all cleaning operations
Be aware of and comply with fire, safety, and security procedures on board
Participate in onboard training to enhance skills and prepare for future promotions
