The scale of the conflict and the use of high impact and indiscriminate weapons requires an urgent and extensive response. MAG seeks to save lives and build safer futures by providing risk education to communities, to help them stay safe. MAG is also in the process of seeking accreditation to start conducting explosive ordnance disposal and demining activities in Ukraine, to save the lives of people affected by the conflict.ABOUT THE ROLE:Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that weekly and monthly reports are accurate, high-quality, and submitted on time to relevant authorities
  • Prepare and process data for regular reporting
  • Liaise with the Programmes department to understand and meet donor reporting requirements
  • Manage the flow of hard copy data from field offices to government reporting authorities
  • Perform core IMO tasks: identification, collection, verification, analysis, and dissemination of data
  • Ensure the accuracy, quality, and integrity of data collected, processed, and stored
  • Monitor reporting requirements and inform the IM team of any updates or changes
  • Ensure compliance with MAG country and global IM policies and procedures
  • Support knowledge sharing and documentation of best practices within the IM team
  • Provide technical support in Information Management (IM) and GIS to staff when required
General Responsibilities
  • Work in line with MAG's core values and maintain professional conduct
  • Participate in relevant meetings
  • Adhere to MAG's Safeguarding Framework and report any concerns
  • Apply knowledge gained from training and development programs
  • Perform additional duties as required
ABOUT YOU:We are seeking a candidate with:
  • Experience in information management, data analysis, or reporting
  • Strong data management skills (collection, verification, analysis, reporting)
  • Attention to detail and ability to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Experience working with reporting requirements (including donor reporting)
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders (e.g. programmes, field teams, authorities)
  • Understanding of data workflows and document management processes
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge or experience in GIS is an advantage
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to provide technical support and guidance to staff
  • Commitment to organizational values and safeguarding standards
Additional (Preferred) Skills
  • Experience with IMSMA is an asset, but not required
  • Background in mine action is an advantage, but not mandatory
  • Experience with ESRI tools such as Survey123, Field Maps, and ArcGIS Online is preferred
