Position Title: Construction & Electrical Quality Control Inspector - Generator Installation
Location: Yuzhnoukrainsk, Ukraine (multiple sites)
Duration: August 18 - October 30, 2025 (with possible short-term extensions)
Reports To: Project Manager, Arroyo LegacyPosition Summary:
Responsible for quality control oversight of civil, mechanical, and electrical works related to the installation of diesel generator systems and associated balance-of-plant infrastructure at 14 municipal and utility sites. Ensures that all works comply with approved designs, technical specifications, Ukrainian regulations (DBN, DSTU), safety standards, and manufacturer requirements.Key Responsibilities:Conduct daily inspections of site works, including:Civil foundations and reinforced concrete generator padsFuel system installation (tanks, piping, insulation)ATS, control panel, and electrical distribution connectionsGrounding and lightning protection systemsCanopy and weatherproofing installationsSecurity fencing, lighting, and access controlsVerify materials and workmanship meet the approved technical specifications and project drawings.Monitor compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.Witness and document testing and commissioning activities, including load tests and ATS transfer tests.Identify non-conformances, issue corrective action requests, and verify remedial works.Maintain a detailed QC log, photographic records, and inspection checklists for each site.Coordinate with the design engineer, installation teams, and client representatives to resolve technical issues on site.Participate in handover inspections and sign-off of as-built documentation.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related technical field (preferred).Minimum 5 years of experience in QC or site supervision of power generation, electrical infrastructure, or industrial construction projects.Strong knowledge of DBN and DSTU codes, IEC standards, and generator installation best practices.Experience working with diesel generators, ATS systems, grounding, and earthing.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Ukrainian language fluency; English proficiency strongly preferred.Valid driver's license and ability to travel between sites daily.Contract Type: Short-term consultancy with daily rate.

Ensures compliance of all works with approved designs, technical requirements, Ukrainian standards (DBN, DSTU), safety standards and manufacturer's requirements.Main responsibilities:Conduct daily inspections of work performance, including:Installation of foundations and reinforced concrete slabs for generatorsInstallation of fuel systems (tanks, pipelines, thermal insulation)Connection of automatic transfer switches (ATS), control panels and electrical distribution systemsGrounding and lightning protection systemsInstallation of casings and weather protection systemsInstallation of fencing, lighting and access systemsCheck the compliance of materials and performed work with approved technical requirements and drawings.Monitor compliance with occupational health and safety requirements, safety procedures, and environmental standards.Participate in testing and commissioning, including load tests and verification of ATS operation.Identify non-conformities, issue requirements to eliminate deficiencies, and verify the implementation of corrections.Maintain a detailed quality control log, photo reports, and inspection checklists for each facility.Coordinate work with project engineers, installation teams, and customer representatives to resolve technical issues on site.Participate in final inspections and signing of executive documentation.Candidate requirements:Higher education in Electrical Engineering, Construction or related technical fields (preferred).Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control or technical supervision of energy, electrical infrastructure or industrial construction projects.In-depth knowledge of DBN, DSTU, IEC standards and best practices for generator installation.Experience with diesel generators, ATS systems, grounding and protective grounding circuit.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Fluency in Ukrainian; knowledge of English is desirable.Possession of a driver's license and willingness to travel between sites daily.Contract type: Short-term contract with daily rates.
