- Coordinate and manage daily procurement activities across programs and operations.
- Ensure full compliance with Mercy Corps’ procurement policies, formats, and documentation standards.
- Facilitate procurement planning with Program, Finance, Administration, and Operational teams.
- Guide staff in preparing clear purchase requests and supporting documents.
- Collect quotations, bids, and proposals in line with Mercy Corps’ procurement standards.
- Prepare and maintain thorough procurement documentation and audit-ready files.Provide training and technical support to staff on procurement compliance.
- Support program teams with timely and cost-effective procurement solutions.
- Conduct oneself at all times, both professionally and personally, in a manner that upholds Mercy Corps’ values and does not jeopardize its humanitarian mission.
- Support procurement activities as required and directed by the Operations Lead.
- Maintain a positive, proactive attitude and demonstrate respect and collaboration with all colleagues.
- Contribute effectively within a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
- 2–3 years of experience in large-scale procurement.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to interact effectively with both international and national staff at all levels.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in Ukrainian and English.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly advanced skills in MS Excel. Familiarity with the SAP Ariba system is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and translate information into timely action to avoid delays in program implementation.
- Capacity to work effectively within an ethnically diverse team and adapt to sensitive or challenging environments.
