Our mission is to contribute to the country's recovery and economic growth by effectively mobilizing resources for innovation development, ensuring sustainable progress, and strengthening the economy.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and highly communicative Donor & Government Engagement Specialist to join our Ukrainian team. You will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with donors, government bodies, and international organizations. Your work will strengthen EPSA's positioning as a trusted stakeholder partner, create new partnerships, and support the implementation of grant and credit programs for Ukrainian businesses.Key Responsibilities
  • Donor Relations: Establish and maintain long-term relationships with international donors, foundations, financial institutions, and development agencies.
  • Government Engagement: Build dialogue with Ukrainian and European government institutions, ministries, and regulators to support a favorable environment for EPSA's clients.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities for cooperation, partnerships, and joint programs between donors, governments, and businesses; design strategies to attract new clients and projects.
  • Policy Advocacy: Monitor and analyze policy and regulatory changes affecting access to funding; participate in consultations and forums on behalf of EPSA.
  • Networking & Representation: Represent EPSA at conferences, roundtables, and working groups, strengthening the company's brand as a leading partner in funding advisory.
  • Information Sharing: Provide clients with up-to-date information on funding opportunities and eligibility requirements, and prepare analytical briefs and recommendations.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with Grant Managers, analysts, and other colleagues to ensure a coordinated approach in donor and client engagement.
Candidate Requirements
  • Education: Higher education in international relations, political science, economics, business administration, or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of proven experience in external relations, business development, donor relations, or working with government stakeholders.
  • Donor & Government Knowledge: Strong understanding of the donor landscape, government business support programs, and development policies in Ukraine and internationally.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Ukrainian and English (at least C1).
  • Communication & Networking: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to represent the organization at senior levels.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical mindset to identify collaboration opportunities and shape strategic partnership initiatives.
