Job PurposeAs a Junior Strong Software QA Engineer at Leobit company, you must be capable of performing Black-box testing of Web and Mobile platforms. You must have a keen eye for detail, critical thinking, and high organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate high result orientation and responsibility for one's own work.Our client is focused on helping enterprises adapt to the rapidly evolving search ecosystem. One year of working experience in testing web/mobile applications (at least)
Familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum)
Understanding the purpose of Software Quality
Understanding QA's role in cross-functional Agile teams
Knowledge of Fundamental Test Process Phases
Knowledge of Testing Types and Techniques (understanding Embedded testing will be a plus)
Knowledge of Test Documentation types/purpose
Knowledge of HTML, CSS.
Understanding of web page DOM and modern Javascript frameworks rendering models: Shadow DOM and Virtual DOM.
Understanding how web crawlers traverse web-sites.
Technical skills in test scenario preparation and test execution
Technical skills in documenting and troubleshooting defects
Familiarity with test case/ project management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, Azure DevOps)
Strong self-organization skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)
Level of English: Upper-intermediate or higher

Responsibilities:

Analyze and validate requirements (specifications, acceptance criteria, etc.).
Create Test Documentation (test design, test scenarios, test cases, GUI checklists, etc.).
Prepare Test Data.
Perform Functional / non-functional testing of product increments (Web/Desktop/Mobile).
Update baseline documentation following requirements changes.
Create bug reports and document deviations from the expected results with screenshots and videos.
Provide regular Test Status updates to stakeholders.
Work with Project and Test Management Tools
