WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON
  • Draft, review, and update AML policies and procedures to align with the latest AML regulations, both within the EU framework and under FINTRAC requirements.
  • Monitor and interpret AML-related laws, guidelines, and industry best practices; ensure timely implementation of changes.
  • Assist with applications and renewals for financial licenses for example MSB, MiCa, etc.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with regulators and licensing authorities; prepare and submit required documentation.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on AML regulatory obligations and compliance strategies, including the integration of crypto assets.
  • Support internal and external audits related to AML compliance; prepare compliance reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE
  • Minimum 3 years of AML/compliance experience in the fintech industry (PSP, Acquiring, EMI, etc.)
  • Extensive knowledge of EU AML regulations, FINTRAC requirements, and current EU crypto regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience with regulatory licensing processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and apply them to business operations.
  • In-depth understanding of AML laws, regulations, and guidelines in EU.
  • Fluent in English and russian;
