Position SummaryMomentum Wheels for Humanity (MWH) seeks a Procurement Officer to support field-level procurement, logistics, and administrative operations across its projects in Ukraine.The Procurement Officer will contribute to the effective implementation of projects by supporting local procurement processes, coordinating with vendors, facilitating logistics for trainings and field activities, and maintaining accurate documentation and reporting. The role requires close collaboration with operational, technical, and program teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and services and smooth execution of activities at the local level.Only candidates with legal authorization to work in Ukraine will be considered. For more information, visit .Expected Duties and ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Director of Finance and Grants Management, the Procurement Officer will:
  • Support identification and procurement of goods and services at the local level in line with donor, MWH, and national procedures
  • Facilitate delivery, receipt, and verification of goods and services, ensuring compliance with quality and quantity requirements
  • Participate in periodic and annual physical inventory counts and support stock tracking
  • Coordinate logistics for local trainings, outreach activities, and community events
  • Provide day-to-day office logistics support, including supplies, documentation, and vendor coordination
  • Support controlled distribution and documentation of donated items within assigned regions
  • Maintain and update logistics and procurement records (online and offline)
  • Coordinate logistics for field visits, including transport and meeting arrangements
  • Prepare procurement requests and maintain procurement documentation and files
  • Conduct market research and identify qualified suppliers
  • Coordinate with vendors to collect required documentation and confirm delivery timelines
  • Ensure proper filing, archiving, and submission of procurement documentation
  • Support the full procurement cycle in coordination with central procurement teams
  • Liaise with vendors to ensure service quality and contract compliance
  • Flag procurement delays or technical discrepancies to relevant teams
  • Support vendor understanding of documentation and delivery requirements
  • Support development of local procurement plans
  • Contribute to monthly procurement and logistics reports with accurate field data
  • Submit regular activity reports, including completed tasks, challenges, and next steps
  • Support responses to reporting requests from HQ and compliance teams
  • Recommend improvements to procurement and logistics processes
  • Support logistics for national and international staff, including travel, accommodation, and field arrangements
  • Assist with visa, customs, and travel-related processes when required
  • Perform other procurement, logistics, and administrative tasks as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (logistics, administration, supply chain, or related)
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in procurement, logistics, or operations
  • Experience in field-based logistics and procurement support
  • Experience working with international humanitarian or development organizations
  • Familiarity with donor compliance requirements and procurement procedures
  • Knowledge of Ukrainian regulations related to procurement and logistics
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and documentation skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management tools
  • Fluency in Ukrainian and English (written and spoken)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in emergency or humanitarian settings
  • Experience with inventory or warehouse management
  • Experience with international procurement and vendor coordination
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in dynamic environments
