We're looking for an experienced Global Head of Tax (Director of Strategic Financial) to join our team and take ownership of financial operations across multiple entities and jurisdictions.Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role in an international company -iGaming;
  • Experience in tax regimes, financial planning, and cash flow management across multiple jurisdictions (Malta, Curacao, Romania, Isle of Man, Canada, UK - at least several of these);
  • Proven iGaming industry experience: licensing agreements & B2B clients at a strategic level;
  • Advanced English proficiency;
  • Supervision of financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual) in line with IFRS/GAAP & regulatory requirements;
  • Higher education in Finance, Accounting, or Economics;
  • Consolidated financial statements experience;
  • Managing multiple legal entities in a group/holding.
Soft Skills:
  • Analytical mindset & high attention to detail;

  • Clear and effective communication across teams;
  • Effective coordination with accountants, legal teams & tax authorities
Would be a plus:
  • ACCA, ADIT, or certified tax consultant qualifications.
Tools Used:
  • Excel (Advanced): formulas, pivot tables, financial models;
  • Accounting Systems: NetSuite, Xero, QuickBooks, or SAGE (optional choice);
  • Tax Reporting Tools / Dashboards (ERP-integrated or standalone);
  • Document Management: SharePoint, Google Workspace, OneDrive;
  • Communication: Microsoft Teams, Zoom;
  • Task Management: Jira/Trello/Asana/ClickUp;
  • CRM Systems: any (would be a plus).
Responsibilities:
  • Audit and ensure compliance of financial and management accounting and tax planning across multiple Group entities and key jurisdictions (Romania, Malta,Curacao, Isle of Man, Canada, UK), ensuring adherence to tax regulations and group-level optimization;
  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual) to ensure they fully comply with IFRS/GAAP and applicable tax regulations.
  • Coordinate with local accountants, legal teams, and tax authorities in multiple jurisdictions to ensure accurate reporting and compliance;
  • Govern consolidated financial reporting across all Group entities, ensuring compliance with tax legislation;
  • Monitor tax-related expenses, manage budgets, and analyze tax risks to ensure compliance and financial optimization;
  • Support tax planning initiatives and ensure compliance with local tax regulations;
  • Develop, implement, and maintain internal financial controls and accounting; procedures to ensure compliance with international tax requirements;
  • Liaise with banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities as required.
